Congratulations to Martyn George on winning a Golden Teddy at last night’s Toymaster dinner. Martyn joined Gibsons’ way back in 1967 taking on the role from his father and has been Gibsons Agent ever since, covering customers in south Wales and the whole of the West Country.

Martyn was nominated for the award by Gibsons’ Chairman Michael Gibson and seconded by Steve Searle at U-Need-Us Toy shop in Portsmouth who has been a Gibsons' customer for over forty years. Michael comments ‘As our Agent, Martyn has always displayed an immense degree of loyalty and support for our company, but what makes him so special is that he provides exactly these same qualities to his customers.  His honesty and integrity are beyond question. His customers have an enormous affection for him born out of their absolute trust in a person who they know will never let them down. Martyn will always go that extra mile and in every sense he is a first class example of what a really excellent sales Agent should be. Martyn is one of those people in the background that help make our industry great and someone we should all be proud of having as a colleague.’
