The race to save the planet is on in a new board game thats fun,
informative and highlights the issues of Global warming. Mission Earth
is the brainchild of a group of school girls from Oxfordshire, who as
part of the Young Enterprise Scheme, designed a board game for children
thats not only great fun to play, but will raise an issue that is close
to their hearts. But, its not all doom and gloom! Mission Earth may be a
race against time to prevent impending environmental disaster, but the
race is challenging and incredibly exciting too! The scene is set in the
year 2259 on a polluted earth where young Earth Heroes, each with a
special power, must save the planet. The simple, spiral path through
space and time is negotiated with a throw of a dice as they move towards
earth bringing their message home that we must act now to save our
planet! To continue their quest they must correctly answer one of the
322 questions from the chance, action and question categories. The game also incorporates a special team play
element where players can work in groups and use their correct answers
to help another member reach the all-important finish line, Earth. With Mission
Earth theres hours of game play to be had the result of which is a fun,
interactive experience and players that have more ecological know
how.Practice what you preach! In keeping with its ecological principles,
Mission Earth is manufactured in the UK with the playing surface being
created from the box ensuring no extra packaging is required -
