With all the doom and gloom about the economy of late here is a silly piece of news to brighten your day. This years wackiest beach event went with a bang and saw all of the Jig It competitors getting very went indeed! The Jig It competition in Bognor Regis sees the challengers try to complete Gibsons I Love Boats 1,000 piece puzzle before the tide comes or get very wet indeed!!! The 2011 Jig It champions Lyn Halcombe and Claire Fitzwilliam made it a hat trick of successes and managed to slot 747 piece of Mike Jupps designed puzzle up to their waists in water before the waves became too much. Claire said-It is a case of blotting everything else out and getting on with the puzzle.

Other activities at the sea side included a hobby horse race and strong man completion. The event was filmed by BBC Coast series which will be aired early next year.
